To receive RSS feeds you need software called a feed reader or aggregator. This retrieves syndicated content that is supplied in the form of a web feed. An RSS reader allows you to subscribe to content of interest to you and then display the information every time it is updated. This allows you to access all your feeds in one convenient location. Most feed readers are free.

Subscribing to RSS feeds

To subscribe to RSS Feeds, right-click on one of the channels with the RSS icon, and select ‘copy shortcut’ to copy the location (url) of the service. Paste this location into the feed reader by following the instructions within that application. Another method is to click on a feed link to open in a new window, select the url in the address bar,and copy and paste it into your feed reader.

Once you have subscribed to the RSS feeds of your choice, your RSS reader will automatically update with the latest news and resources.

Publishing feeds

Webmasters or web content publishers can republish any of these web services in their own website or portal without needing to know anything about RSS using the edna Javascript tool.More information is available from edna.
